Green Building implementation is aiming at reducing or eliminating impacts of building design, construction & operation in order to achieve Sustainability goals. These goals are hard to be achieved without understanding and analyzing the current environmental circumstances where the building is located. Our Environmental Engineering Management service is being established to assist our clients in integrating the Green Building Process as well as meet local environmental code requirements.

“Environmental engineering is the branch of engineering concerned with the application of scientific and engineering principles for protection of human populations from the effects of adverse environmental factors; protection of environments, both local and global, from potentially deleterious effects of natural and human activities; and improvement of environmental quality." - The American Academy of Environmental Engineers

The term implies 3 sub-definitions:

Environmental: By Environment, we mean the project site environmental aspects that need to be understood in order to facilitate a proper integrative design process.

Engineering: Utilizing applied science and technology that addresses the environmental impacts of buildings and finding viable solutions to the construction industry.

Management: The administration of a project's environmental engineering process in a comprehensive, systematic, planned and documented manner.

This area of expertise provides services in various environmental fields to clients throughout the construction industry. In order to preserve natural resources to the benefit of the environment for present and future generations, Environmental Engineering Management services and processes attempts to control the building construction impacts on the environment. Our highly qualified staff can provide services in the following fields:

• Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)

• Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP)

• Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA)

• Environmental Management Plan (EMP)

Other Services (coming soon):

• Land Use Planning
• Management Systems (ISO 14001)
• Environmental Monitoring Programs
• Environmental Auditing
• Social Impact Assessment (SIA)
• Environmental and Health Risk Assessments
• Ecological Assessments

Our Environmental Engineering Management Services

We provide a number of environmental engineering management services that are structured to ensure success in meeting sustainability goals and covers areas such as planning, reporting, record management, inspections, objectives and policies.

EIA - Environmental Impact Assessment

Applying scientific and engineering principles to measure & evaluate the likelihood of any adverse impacts to water quality, air quality, habitat quality, flora and fauna, agricultural capacity, traffic impacts, social impacts, ecological impacts, noise impacts, visual (landscape) impacts, etc. If impacts are expected, they then mitigation measures are developed to limit or prevent such impacts.

Environmental Engineering Consulting

Perform groundwater and soil investigations and conduct a Phase 1 environmental site assessment. A variety of services to assist with building's life-cycle from planning and design to construction and operation. Our specialists & engineers can help in designing remedial systems that mitigate the effects of contaminated soil, groundwater and soil vapor.

CEMP - Construction Env. Management Plan:

We assist contractors in developing a (CEMP) that outlines how a construction project will avoid, minimize or mitigate effects on the environment and surrounding area. Construction environmental management plans often detail the implementation of measures in accordance with local environmental laws and maintain updates at regular intervals throughout the project life cycle.

EMP - Environmental Management Plan

The EMP is the key document in the environmental management system and sets out the detailed, targets, objectives and procedures that will be adopted in order to achieve the goals set out in the environmental policy. On small projects it may form part of the brief, but on larger projects is likely to be a stand-alone document.
