EIA - Environmental Impact Assessment
Applying scientific and engineering principles to measure & evaluate the likelihood of any adverse impacts to water quality, air quality, habitat quality, flora and fauna, agricultural capacity, traffic impacts, social impacts, ecological impacts, noise impacts, visual (landscape) impacts, etc. If impacts are expected, they then mitigation measures are developed to limit or prevent such impacts.
Environmental Engineering Consulting
Perform groundwater and soil investigations and conduct a Phase 1 environmental site assessment. A variety of services to assist with building's life-cycle from planning and design to construction and operation. CEMP - Construction Env. Management Plan:

On small projects it may form part of the brief, but on larger projects is likely to be a stand-alone document.
